2023 Summer Member Social

Join us for our summer member social, hosted by Washington University’s Office of Sustainability and your Engagement & Outreach Committee.
We are excited to visit the East End of Washington University Danforth Campus IN PERSON, which was featured in our October 2021 Virtual LEED Tour. We will be hosted by the Office of Sustainability in the Schnuck Pavilion, a LEED v3 Platinum building, part of the East End transformation, which includes a large underground parking garage, five new buildings, and an addition to the Kemper Art Museum. The other LEED buildings on the East End campus are Jubel Hall (LEED v3 Platinum) Weil Hall (LEED v3 Platinum), Sumers Welcome Center (LEED v3 Platinum), and McKelvey Hall (LEED v4 Gold). Join us to network with your green building community and to celebrate the sustainability accomplishments of our friends and partners at Washington University!

6:00 pm – Remarks from Washington University & your committee chairs
6:20 pm – More networking, lawn games, self-guided sustainability tours
7:15 pm – Attendance Prize Drawing and Member Survey Prize Drawing – Must be present to win!

Please note: we recommend parking in the new underground parking garage, which is free after 5 pm (you still pull a ticket for entry but at exit there is no fee). Enter the parking lot just west of Skinker on Forsyth Blvd by turning north on Wrighton Way or from Forest Park Parkway by turning south on Hoyt Drive. Exit the parking lot by taking the exterior stairwell in the northeast corner of the garage and enter Schnuck Pavilion from the courtyard.
Take the Metrolink and reduce your carbon impact! From downtown, take the Blue Line to the Skinker stop. Exit at Skinker and Forest Park Parkway and walk through the archway to get to WashU’s East End quad and Tisch Park where the Schnuck Pavilion is located.
