Building a greener future.
Green Schools
25% of Americans attend school each day as students, faculty and staff (that’s 1.2 million Missourians!) Our green schools programs provide resources that empower schools and students to make choices that support healthy and efficient school buildings, while fostering student and staff health and wellbeing and inspire real-world learning, civic engagement, and the adoption of behaviors benefiting communities and the environment.
Green Building Education
The exchange of information is a stalwart of our activities. Whether learning about action to reduce our buildings’ carbon footprints, LEED, WELL, Living Buildings or Passive Homes or discussing equity in the built environment - we have green building education on tap for you.
Emerging Professionals
We welcome students, young professionals and individuals new to the green building field into our green building community through happy hours, community services events and networking opportunities. These Green Building Leaders of the Future gather monthly to network, share experiences and give back to the community.
Outreach & Advocacy
We are a recognized and trusted business voice for sustainability in our region. We advocate for policies that help overcome barriers related to green building implementation. Our advocacy efforts have resulted in systemic, sustainable change in promoting green building.
