Since graduating high school, Deko has had a vision to deliver perfect energy — energy that is clean, affordable, abundant and safe — and he has aggressively pursued that goal. He started his career with Azimuth Energy in 2016, and his skills and passion quickly put him on the fast track to success within the company. In seven years, he worked his way from intern to president and CEO at the age of 28. His leadership has resulted in over $100 million in solar and renewable energy deployment across 11 states and three Caribbean countries. Read Deko’s 40  Under 40 Profile.

As director of the Building Energy Exchange St. Louis, Malachi has worked to draw millions of federal dollars to help the region pursue energy efficiency and decarbonization. He played an important role in securing St. Louis’ selection for the $200 million Bloomberg American Sustainable Cities Initiative, which provides sustainability staff and advances investment in environmental justice. Malachi has also been part of efforts to bring $17.3 million in workforce development grants and Missouri’s $153 million Solar for All award. Read Malachi’s 40 Under 40 Profile.
