Missouri Gateway Green Building Council is a proud promotional partner of the Green Schools Conference hosted by the Center for Green Schools, and we are excited to announce the 2025 Conference will be held in Orlando, Florida on March 3-4! This conference provides excellent networking opportunities for professionals in the K-12 school sustainability space, including teachers, administrators, facilities staff, non-profits, informal educators, and experts from the built industry.
The Conference is comprised of four workshops, 24 educational sessions, two mainstage speakers, and four local tours. Sessions will focus on one of five themes:
- Environmental Justice & Health Equity
- Communication for Climate Action
- Partnerships for Sustainable & Equitable Schools
- Healthy, Zero Energy Schools
- Sustainable School Culture & Climate
Each session is designed to be interactive and practical so that participants are able to take their learnings directly back to their school setting.
Missouri Gateway Green Building is proud to sponsor a select group of teachers to attend the Green Schools Conference for free! Educators must be a current participant in either the Green Schools Quest or Missouri Green Schools, and must have permission from their administrator prior to applying. Interested educators should apply here by January 14. Recipients of the scholarship will be announced on January 20.
