Green Schools Quest Mentor Info Session

Since 2013, Missouri Gateway Green Building Council in partnership with MEEA has run the Green Schools Quest, a friendly competition between schools in Missouri and Southern Illinois to complete a student-led, low- or no-cost sustainability project within the school year. Students are led by a teacher at their school, and they determine the content and scope of their project. They complete their project from October through March, and then submit their project to a panel of judges. In April, the Judges announce the winners at the Annual Green Schools Event, and winners take home a cash prize and a trophy.

Green Mentors support the school throughout the project in different ways depending on the school. We are actively recruiting 80 mentors for the 202-2026 school year. Sign up for an info session to learn more about how you can help a school go green!
