Join us for a tour of St. Louis Art Museum’s East Wing, which opened in June 2013 and was designed by David Chipperfield Architects, in collaboration with St. Louis-based HOK. The tour will highlight and discuss the sustainable features and approaches of this LEED Gold® project and how it has performed during its first decade.

Meeting Place & Parking: We will meet for the tour at 12pm at the loading dock entrance on the west side of the main museum building. Kyle will be there buzzing people in – press the buzzer on the door if you aren’t buzzed in immediately. Parking is available in the West Lot across Fine Arts Drive from the museum where you can easily walk to the loading dock entrance indicated on the map. Keep in mind there is no parking available near the loading dock, so do not drive down the lane. See below maps for reference! Please try to arrive promptly so that we can start the tour on time.

In 2024, our Coffee Break Series transitioned to a slightly longer Green Building Break Series. These sessions will take place on the 3rd or 4th Fridays from 12:00pm-1:00pm, varying between in-person tours and Zoom webinars. Join us for a free learning lunch break exploring local green buildings and discussing green building hot topics with local, national, and sometimes international featured guests! Check our CoffeeBreakPlaylist on YouTube for recordings of past sessions.
