With sustainability and healthy building goals now business prerequisites, resiliency, utility and resource consumption, greenhouse gas emissions, and material management from buildings have taken on a new importance. This session explores how LEED Zero boosts your LEED certification and supports your decarbonization and energy, water and waste balance goals. A complement to the LEED rating system, LEED Zero recognizes projects that have reached net zero status in the categories of carbon, energy, water, and/or waste. Learn from real world projects achieving their goal of reducing carbon emissions and addressing climate change and risk through the LEED Zero program. The panel explores opportunities and challenges of LEED Zero while diving into some of the more technical aspects. This session features three projects from across the US focused on LEED Zero Energy, LEED Zero Carbon, and LEED Zero Waste.
