We know that buildings have a big impact on greenhouse gas emissions and our carbon footprint. We also know there are a myriad of ways that buildings can have a positive impact – through energy efficiency, renewable energy, smarter materials choices and more. Join us for a forum on climate action to dive into this topic from the perspective of building industry professional organizations.
We are thrilled to bring together leaders from several local organizations to discuss what each organization is doing at the national and local levels to address climate change and strive for better performance in our buildings. Participants will share information about national and local action – including climate targets, standards, and goals specific to their organizations. Our board chair, James Roseberry, will moderate a round-table discussion on commonalities, challenges, and how we can work together to enact more local change, leveraging the programs of each organization.
