Cool Cities STL is a group of elected officials in the region working to address conservation, sustainability, the climate crisis, and environmental justice.
We are inviting elected officials to learn about and participate in more cohesive action around these issues for their constituents.
Join us for the second Pop Up of the series at Clayton City Hall on Thursday, April 3, from 4 to 5:30 PM.
We will begin the afternoon with a presentation that explains the basics of Benchmarking from Emily Andrews, Executive Director of the Missouri Gateway Green Building Council.
A roundtable discussion will follow with, first, the importance of Benchmarking energy usage and Clayton’s journey in adopting and utilizing Benchmarking data and practices, and second, Clayton’s use of the Crosswalk Labs data tool to understand emissions and better guide the City’s sustainability work.
David Gipson, Clayton City Manager, and Matt Malick, Clayton Director of Public Works, will be joined by Emily Andrews, Executive Director Missouri Gateway Green Building Council, and Melissa Winkler, Crosswalk Labs, as our primary panelists.
We will leave a bit of time for networking after the discussions. Please fill out this brief form if you plan to attend. We hope to see you there!
